It's been a while since we last talked. I've been away.
Loads has happened. Some good. Some bad. But, I would change nothing.
Two years ago I stepped off the plane, and my feet touched down in London. I cannot believe it's been that long.
It feels like yesterday I was packing up my life and embarking on my biggest adventure yet; Venturing across the Atlantic to a country I knew almost nothing about.
This "time traveling" seems to happen all too often. College. Living in Indianapolis. My first year in London. They all passed in a flash, no matter the duration.
I've come to realise time flies if you're enjoying yourself. Or as the saying goes, "time flies when you're having fun."
The past couple years were truly amazing. I've met so many new people, travelled to far off lands, and had experiences I never dreamed of.
I revel in the life I have been fortunate enough to lead and am grateful to have shared it with so many wonderful and different people.
Even after two years I constantly get the same question, "So... when are you moving back?"
It's safe to say the UK is my future (if they'll have me). I still have't thought about moving back. Truly, it's that enjoyable.
But, that's not to say I miss certain things. Most notably, my friends.
It turns out I travel back to the USA more frequently than I thought. Whether it's for work, weddings, or holidays, I always have the same feeling as these trips come to a close. I do miss you guys.
Until next time...
